Terminator Genisys
I dunno... It's looking kinda 'meh' maybe?
They continue to **** with the timeline which is confusing. So what I see in this trailer is this is the second time they send the same dude back to keep Sarah Connor alive? Wait, wut? Apparently terminators age as well? Weird but whatever. Here's the trailer. I didn't see it posted anywhere but the search function is fubar. http://youtu.be/62E4FJTwSuc |

So essentially, Kyle Reese is sent back in time and is expected to meet the Sarah Conner of the original Terminator with those same exact conditions. But once he arrives, everything he was told to expect is completely different, setting up a different future as well. |

It sounds like a cool idea, I just hope it works. I think I mentioned either in this thread or a related thread, but Jason outright refused the role and wouldn't read the script. His wife read it, was blown away, and basically made him read it. IMO, he's great in everything and chooses roles wisely, so hopefully, it works.

This looks good enough to get me to the theater and blow $8... but the Arnie movie I'm really waiting for is the new Conan and the lack of any new information about is pissing me off.
They yapped about it a little bit like 2-3 years ago and since then, bupkis. |

My understanding is that they've had a difficult time with the script

Well, guess I'd rather wait longer for a good product then have them rush out some piece of crap... they said they were trying very hard to stay true to the original movie last I read and I'm holding them to that.

Terminator 2 was by far my favorite childhood movie. I will watch this in theaters.
