This is gonna make me sound silly, but I've always written off Christmas Vacation as not worth watching. This and the other thread have changed my mind. I'm gonna watch it tonight, and watch Love Actually with the wife this Christmas Eve.

I feel kind of bad voting for the movie that had a topless Jamie Lee Curtis in it, along with gorilla sodomy. But you know, Christmas should be interesting.

I went with ...

#1 - The Grinch (original). Love that voice and the animation and the dog with the antler.

#2 - Trading Places. I don't really think of that as a Christmas movie.

#3 - It's a Wonderful Life. You have to like this movie.

Thanks for putting these right in the middle of the screen grouped together like that:

It's A Wonderful Life
How The Grinch Stole Christmas (original)
Miracle On 34th Street

It helps old ****s like me to quickly vote, have some cocoa, and trot off to bed while it's still early enough to get a full night's sleep.

That's the order they were nominated! Worked out well for you, I guess.

Hot Cocoa, not a bad idea. I don't care for it, but perhaps I'll have some made for the wife when she gets home. I'm gonna have some beer and watch Christmas Vacation.

How I envy you to be able to watch that for the first time.
