Trade up and draft Marcus Mariota!

Let's fire up this bandwagon, draftabulators!

why even go there. you know dam well that Alex is the guy Andy wants so stop crying and bitching and figure out how to make the team better around the dude.

you think a rookie qb is gonna do shit with this oline and wr group. He would be ruined after 2 years of that garbage and you'd be back to bitching and moaning again for a new qb.

How about fixing the oline and adding a true #1 wr this offseason. If Alex doesn't get us to the playoffs, then get rid of him and bring in a rookie but at that point you'd at least give the guy a chance to succeed.

- First of all, I am not sure how the cited post is "crying and bitching." Second, are you insinuating that Alex Smith hasn't had the chance to succeed? he's been a starter for how many seasons now on how many super talented teams? Alex is clearly the guy Andy Reid wants. Dorsey should still pull the plug on this experiment while we have time to get out of the deal with our hide intact.

And yes, I think a capable rookie could do more with this offense than Alex Smith. The O-line could use strengthening, but the WR position is difficult to evaluate with a QB who won't actually give a WR a chance to make a play or throw his receivers open.

Why the **** do people even entertain this topic?

This franchise doesn't draft QB's in the first round, to begin with. Now, people are saying we will trade up higher in the first to draft one overall...?

The oline could use strengthening? Are you serious? They are the worst in the NFL. You cant be serious in thinking a rookie could learn Andy's WCO and play behind that oline and with that group of wr's and come out with a better record or Vegas has its best customer ever!

What did the FO do in the offseason to help Alex and the O? Name the players that you think were the big time improvements? How about the move to get rid of your 3 best oline players and not do anything to repace them. That single move alone condemned this O to failure this season. How is that giving Alex a chance to succeed? No other team fails to surround the starting qb with less. Brilliant

Derek Carr is arguably doing as much with less in Oakland. Bridgewater is doing as much with as much in Minnesota.

I would hope my organization would not look past a history of sexual abuse or rape. Sometimes, the price to win a super bowl is too high.

Some people here would draft Charles Manson or Ted Bundy if they could play QB.
