That has just as much to do with him being unwillingly to throw the ball down field as it does having shitty WRs and protection. |

How many teams can honestly sit back and say they are perfectly fine at QB, flawless, and pleased?
By my count, Packers, Broncos, Patriots, Saints, Colts, Steelers, and Seattle are the only teams who can say so for sure. MAYBE Atlanta and San Diego. That's 7 out of 32. They just don't grow on trees. |

Yes, Rodgers could do that and them some easily. He can make "big boy" throws when need be.

I'd rather take hair care tips from Steven young than listen to Dilfer's analysis (in general)

It's not a mystery. When your QB is only capable of using a small portion of the field, the defense only has to use a small portion of its players to cover it.

I think Peyton Manning would've been the best QB for this offense. Aaron might actually struggle with our line because he does tend to hold the ball too long too much. His lone flaw. Manning always has a quick read and he always masks deficiencies on his line. Plus, the Manning hurry up is a nightmare for pass rushers

The good QB's want to be blitzed. They know someone will be free and the correct read will result in a positive play. Hell, look at last night - we blitz, and Manning throws right to the area we just vacated for an easy completion. |

Well, it's fascinating, really. It's hard to defend Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning. I never would've guessed it

Aaron Rodgers has had an offensive line just as horrific as ours in 2013 and 2012.
It was due to injury and bad drafting just like ours, too. He made the playoffs both years and was pretty damn good. The offensive line woes we're having are appalling and they need to get better regardless of who's under center, but Alex didn't exactly make things better last night the way real QBs would. A smart QB like Manning would have caught those blitzes and either audibled or been ready to take the **** off. Since, you know... he's actually GOT the ability to do that for us, and does it regularly with success. |

His line was all ****ed up during their Super Bowl run as well. They had a ton of injuries that year. |

Nah. Rodgers makes his lines look worse than they are. Always has, always will. He holds the ball too long and always tries to make a play. It's a flaw, but he's amazing nonetheless. Alex is terrible from the pocket. Just wretched. Also, why are we comparing Alex and Aaron?

And he had no running game to lean on. Everyone knew what was coming, and he still beat defenses. |
