What did samurai do with katana? I guess the hilt had a small protrusion to stop that from happening?

OK, questions:

Is this about Han and Leia's kids?
I thought all the Stormtoopers were clones of Jango Fett? Who is the black guy at the beginning of the trainer?
Are Han, Leia, and Luke a part of the next trilogy?

Officially, no one knows. A plot synopsis has not been released.

This is set 30 years after Return of the Jedi. There has been no official statement but in the new Disney XD program, Star Wars: Rebels, storm troopers are sometimes recruited and sometimes captured and trained to be storm troopers.

Rebels is considered canon and will apparently tie directly into Awakens.

Officially, no one knows. There are rumors that seem likely but they're unconfirmed.

The new lightsaber looks pretty cool. I guess that's what they're looking to capture for casual Star Wars watchers like myself.

Will definitely wait to see what reviews are like. Episodes I and II did enough damage that I never bothered to see Episode III.

III isn't as good as the original trilogy, but good enough to forget I and II.

re: Ep I, my memories are a little softened b/c I saw the full movie just once, but I cranked the pod race on my new 60' HDTV and bustin' sound system 100s of times.

Episode III redeemed the prequels to some degree. But yeah, AotC was just a shitstorm of ****.

This, I noticed but I thought it might be rotoscoping artifacts due to a quickly cut trailer. I hope it changes because IMO, it appears to be a little "cartoonish".
A redditor did image stabilization on teh Falcon scene in the teaser.

You were right: there's nothing different about the Falcon outside of the "radar" dish being replaced. The camera work and the sandy background of the shot made it look different.
