Yes
A couple weeks ago I rank them right behind chocolate chip They must be chewy, maybe with a tiny bit of crunch on the edge. |

Honestly I think I've grown to like oatmeal raisin over chocolate chip. If they're good.

If there's one thing it can be said I make better than most, it's snickerdoodles. Though truthfully it's just quality ingredients and attention to detail [ie, proper proportions of ingredients, no overmixing, temp control, don't over cook, etc.] I make them every holiday season and people literally seek me out to see if I have some to spare. Also I take them to parties and have often gotten 'did you bring them' before even a hello. Re: Oatmeal Raisin, oats and raisins are the perfect way to keep cookies moist, but not soggy. I'd characterize O-Rs as; not the first cookie I'd take necessarily, but one I'm rarely disappointed in. An RC Cola of cookies.

My bad. Except for Baby Lee's holiday snickerdoodles, of course.

From what I'm reading, oatmeal-raising cookies with icing must make some of you practically catatonic.

They are my favorite, better than any other cookie. They get a 10. Next closest competitor, chocolate chip, would get a 7.5.
Probably three weeks ago, last one. Peppridge Farm (sp?) are pretty good. |

yes
if done properly, one of my favorites it cannot be too dry....must be moist and chewy maybe with a little crisp also has to be a lot of brown sugar and dark flavors, not too sweet Havent had a good one in a while, but they probably are my favorite cookie - 10/10
