If ever the Chiefs had a legitimate nemesis in my lifetime, it has to be that ****ing organization.

The Chiefs backups beat the Chargers, period. The NFL later recognized that the fumble-recovery-return-TD was a fumble-recovery-return-TD. The refs alone kept the Chargers in that game. And then there was today. |

I don't know what you saw, or what you think you saw, but the outcome of both games was a big L in the W/L column. This may come as a shock to you, but you have to score more points than the other team before the time runs out to "flat out beat them."

We don't interact often. In response to your post above, the Chargers have defeated the Chiefs 4 of the last 5 times. (by scoring more points than the Chiefs). Moral victories seem to cross time on CP. 10 years from now the homers will bring up how the Chiefs almost beat the Chargers with their backups and how they had some injuries and the Chargers won because of said injuries. You'll be able to tell these stories to your grandchildren in order to keep them alive. But today, you have a win and cheapened it by spitting on your downed rival with no consideration of their injuries. The word "Own" does not apply to this rivalry. Disgraceful... You seem to have no concept of a divisional rivalry. The idea is that the teams know each other quite well by playing each other twice a year. When another team gets a new coach or new personnel it changes the opposing teams game plan. When a team fields an entirely different roster it's difficult to gameplan for. Also, other teams have injuries, not just the Chiefs. To complain about the Hali/ Houston injuries is childish at best. Chiefs fans focus on Rivers and Gates. All other players are filler. The Chargers have been decimated by major injuries for the past 2 years. I won't get into it it because you probably don't know who they are due to your devotion to your precious Chiefs. To say the Chiefs have "Owned the Chargers" while going 1-4 is 13 times ignorance mixed with 2 times arrogance. If this doesn't quantify as a rebuttal you need to restate the argument or get a full frontal lobotomy. Last edited by Gadzooks; 10-20-2014 at 01:55 AM.. |

But the first point is nonsense. There is no injury on this team that has affected us more than Houston/Hali, and I contend there is no injury on your team that remotely comes close to it. All injuries are not created equal. We went from constant pressure on Rivers to zero pressure. With a great QB like Rivers, that's the game. It's a fundamental element to the game and perfectly material to mention. Because you find it unpleasant doesn't change the facts. My argument, by the way, concerns the Andy Reid Chiefs. The Andy Reid Chiefs are 1-2 against San Diego. Not 1-4. |

Direck is a crazed fool who is prone to hyperactive posting. (Manic depression caused). Fire Dorsey! after 1 week he said. Now, he's arguing Dorsey's teams have "dominated" SD by going 1-2 vs them.
