What a satisfying end to a game. If only they could somehow both lose.

It was 100% the wrong call. Terrible defense by Florida State. Even number 8 for FSU knew it. He was upset with the other DB. The officiating has been bad today across the board.

So Notre Dame can say good bye to the play off. A two loss conference team will get in before an one loss Notre Dame team. I reckon there have to bite the bullet and join a conference.

I guarantee ND is in the playoff if they end the season with only one loss and that loss being a 4 point loss to Florida State on the road.

The DB was playing press coverage and reached out to grab the receiver at the snap and never made an effort to disengage from the receiver. Should have never been called an illegal pick.

The Irish had 2 guys committing the same penalty, they could have called it on either guy. All the Irish WR's had to do was to run the Florida State DB's into each other. 100% correct call.

I hate Florida State, but if that isn't a pick play, then they should get rid of the rule entirely. Two receivers standing next to each other didn't even try to run routes. They just slammed into the defenders.

When that flag was thrown, I was pissed. Then they showed the replay, and I just laughed. It was as blatent as anything I have ever seen.

The inside receiver was jammed immediately from the line. The defender had his hands on the outside of that receiver until the ball was thrown and then he tried to get to Robinson, who caught the ball. The furthest DB jumped to the inside for whatever reason and took himself out of the play. And it's safe to say it was man coverage and he was getting ahead of a slant/crossing route. It was horrible defense. As I keep pointing out, even number 8 for FSU knew they blew the coverage. He and number 3 both look at each other with their arms out wondering what went wrong.
