To me baseball is 10x more boring than soccer but since this is probably my only chance to see KC win a championship in my lifetime I'm going to watch...

Baseball on TV is like 9 root canals. It is MUCH better in person. The same for soccer, I'm sure.

It's not for everyone. Especially in the USA where soccer is just starting to really get national exposure. I've become a pretty big fan over the years though. Its a great game once you actually understand what's going on. The rednecks can have nascar, and I can have soccer. I'm ok with that.

"Only if you never played it" to use the common soccer defense.

I don't have a problem with soccer. I actually enjoy watching the national teams play and follow the World Cup closely. I'll watch an EPL game if I find it and there's nothing else on and I don't watch to jump over to Netflix or fire up the Xbox.

I just can't buy MLS as a a "major" league, and therefore can't get too excited about winning in that league. Not yet.

Maybe the ESPN deal changes that. We'll see.

I like soccer a lot, and I follow the EPL, though not MLS.

The anti-soccer people are far louder and more annoying than the pro-soccer people. It seems like the DeBergs and CoMos were irritated because people started threads during the world cup? Because other people were into it and they weren't?

I don't understand what the shot to their ego is, that they feel the need to make fun of something they don't care about... and they post over and over and over and over telling us how much they couldn't care less about it.
