Moral Judgement On Prostitutes

So last night/this morning I had some people over. A friend brought a friend who, it turns out, is a high end prostitute. I don't roll like that, I pay for pussy in the traditional drinks and entertainment sort of way. This lady is beautiful, intelligent, and worldly. Great conversation but all I can think is "yeah but you're still a whore". Sharing this because bye week...

Happens because prostitution is illegal. The market for it doesn't go away but is shifted into the shadows where people who are willing to do violence to make money reside. Same thing with drugs.

Bring it out into the light and all that goes away because the providers of the legal service see it in their interest to nail their competitors that are doing illegal things.

Sometimes guys want to get their dick wet with someone that's realistically unattainable. People who get hookers come from all walks of life. I've known some friends who have no problem getting women on their own, and are certainly good looking guys get prostitutes. Sometimes, I think, men get lazy. Especially wealthy men.

While I mostly agree with your post, I find it hard to accept the dichotomy. It's not our place to judge how women (educated or not) use their bodies. If they are a willing party with the ability to understand the risks/rewards associated with the behavior, I don't see any issues.

I understand and respect that POV.

My issue with it is two-fold:

#1) They are making an implicit value judgment that their worth is tied to their ability to perform sex acts for compensation, which reinforces the idea of women as objects for edification.

#2) Deceit is integral to the occupation itself, and it relies upon choice, not necessity. There is a difference between someone stealing a loaf of bread to survive and stealing it because they can.
