Jamaal Charles: Starter?

Just wondering what people think of JC(Jamaal Charles) on here. I think he's

not a starting back yet, but in a couple years he will be. I just think that he's a

player that if you give him more receiving plays he'll be a more productive

player, but not as a handoff back that will plow people over. I also think that

he will strive if there was a running game because he would definitely

compliment a bruising running back. It would have worked with LJ, but he was

out for a month and really there was not much of a running game the whole

season. I know I'm being ****in' captain obvious with the last few sentences,

but I really think he'd be a good compliment for a brick shit house RB that

has a running game and not start next year.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Dude just doesn't have the durability. We bitch about him not getting enough touches, but then this happens to him, or the situation in the Indy game.

Every time he gets tackled, I honestly expect him to be injured.
You make him out to be like darren mcfadden. That was freakish the way he went out in indy. Even KnIles went out of that game. Charles had a very good year last year. I cant remember him missing a game because of injury. So he went out with a ankle injury. Shit happpens. Look at all the lower extremity injuries we've already have. Players everywhere on this team are getting hurt.

I'm mad... OK? I'm just tired of him getting hurt on plays that don't make you cringe.

That's a pretty silly criteria. Countless major injuries have happened on plays that look like nothing. Countless cringeworthy hits have resulted in players bouncing right back up. Looks are incredibly deceiving when it comes to football injuries.

JC is not soft. If anything, he's been run into the ground. Maybe because he's, you know, literally the only offensive weapon this team has.

I don't even rember seeing the play how Eric went out. It was probably a non-cringe play like DJ and Devito also.

He's been hurt his rookie year
Hurt in the 2010 playoff game
Out for most of 2011
Hurt in last years playoff game
Hurt again today

He's a solid player, but not a guy to build a team around and rely on.

Funny thing is, he's really not been overworked. His touches have always been limited

He's just a fragile player.

Go back and look at his touches again from last year...

Sad to say, but the lifespan of a running back is not that long. Definitely an awesome player and one of the few bright spots during the Pioli years. But, he may only have a season or two left.
