Who sues the NFL or the Rams if Sams is cut?

You know its going to happen. If they cut him someone including MU fans will be grabbing their Rainbow tourches and firing up a lawsuit.

So who do you think will sue first? And where will ESPN fall into all of this? Will ESPN weep or call for an recount? Will they remove shower cam?

inquiring minds what to know....

There's been nothing to suggest he's any more than a special teams player at best in the NFL.

He doesn't even play ST. He's a situational rusher, and has looked like a competent NFL player doing it. Hell, he's a better looking down rusher than almost any Chief.

The Rams have a pretty solid front 7, so I can see him not making it with them.

That said, he's surprised me and has improved in the preseason. He'll make a roster somewhere.

If Sams would get Dee Ford moved over behind Hali where he belongs, i would happily sign the guy if he gets cut.

We wouldn't be bringing in Sam to play OLB. You'd be bringing in Sam to be a situational pass rusher in our nickle or dime defenses.

Yea he cant play LB this has already been covered.

Dude does look like he can play DE in a 4-3 though.

His biggest knock is he isn't a ST player.

We would be bringing Sams in to backup Houston instead of Dee Ford.

Dee Ford would then move over to where he belongs at RDE. JMO

As for situational pass rusher, that can be either Ford and/or Sams. Just line them up on then edge and let them go.

Call me crazy, but I could see Sam being used as an Inside Rush Backer kind of guy, really situation of course, but you can't discount his intangibles at all, because his measureables absolutely blow, yet the guy can play. I'm surprised to hear he's not a special teams guy because he's got the motor for it.

Either way, I could see us giving him a shot if he didn't make the rams roster, but it would be an outside shot and he'd have to challenge one of the OLB depth guys because I don't see him taking a DE spot from us unless Catapano ends up with Ebola.

tbh i don't care whether Sams lines up as long as the result is Dee Ford getting put at RDE.

Yeah, this thing that he isnt a special teamer needs to be squashed... by him.

If he's a real football player then theres no reason he cant play ST's and play it well.

He wouldnt be a good fit here though, at 260 he's way too small for DE (although that might be fixable) and I dont think he really has the athleticism for OLB... he belongs on a 4-3 team that wants a situational pass rushing end.
