Can This Guy Become A Pro Bowl TE For The Chiefs?

I say yes. Travis Kelce has the size, speed and skills to become an elite level TE in the NFL. Hopefully he stays healthy this year. If so I think he adds an extra dimension to the offense that it didn't have last year. Agree or Disagree?

As injury prone as he is he doesn't need to be diving into the endzone. Stay up on your feet and don't tempt fate. But it was nice to see his ability and speed.

Besides that, from my seat you could see him put on the afterburners and start to pull away from the DB's. That's a big man movin real fast.

Between the way he played in college, seeing that speed out there tonight, and the catch he made where it took 6 guys to tackle him, I'm calling it now. Roids.

Everyone in the room cringed when he dove in there. Even the chick who doesn't watch football said how dumb that was, that Kelce was going to get hurt again.

I cringed too.

Upside: Dude looks HEALTHY.

Obviously feels healthy.

If people can't look at this guy and see that his talent translates to something well beyond average Joe schmoe TE, they should stop trying to evaluate players.
This guy has BIG talent.

Blown coverage or something because he was wide open. Nice read by Daniel to get him the ball, and he has some nice afterburners. I wouldn't crown him just yet.

I would have been more impressed if he caught it in coverage shook the tackle then motored to the endzone.

Exactly.

He's a mauler inline and he's got great straight-line speed. He's not EVER going to be a dynamic TG-like TE, that's just not his game. Not to say he can't be a solid player and a potential pro-bowler but it was one pre-season game.

If you want to be impressed on that play look at the backup O-line. They completely cleaned out the throwing lane for Chase to step up and throw the strike. Everyone blowing a nut on a TE uncovered making the catch and missing the important thing. Any credit belongs with the line and a smidgin for Chase not blowing it and makeing the perfect throw.

Good play but why did Kelce ignore Daniel when he went to congratulate him?

Im not a Fan of QB's running 50 yards down the field with their fists in the air trying to get in the scrum. At least not in preseason.

Why did none of Chase's teammates come to his birthday party?
