This makes sense against Big Clay. But alas, I know you like bitching about anything Ned does.
Speaks to the lack of depth, Maxwell should never be in the big leagues again.

I'm arguing for speed on the bases, someone who can get on with the bunt as well as the swing and speed in the OF.

Those things are more important to me when you are looking at what should be a low scoring game than an average right fielder who strikes out more than anyone. What do you gain out of putting Maxwell in?

In other words you have more opportunity and options with Dyson than you do Maxwell.

Again, Maxwell is a career .233 hitter against lefties. Why do you people think he is any good? Like at all?

Dyson has earned his playing time. Maxwell sure hasn't but he just happens to be a right handed hitter. Who by the way has only 11 career HRs vs lefties.

OPS, Career vs LHP

Dyson 0.499 (not even 0.500? Holy crap!?!)
Maxwell 0.759

This is an obvious no-brainer

I whole heartedly agree, I think if he hadn't have hit that walk off grand slam last year they would jump on the Dyson band wagon

Maxwell takes a lot of walks vs LHP. ignore the ancient outdated AVG, use OPS.
