Is it just me or...

Does it seem that Dorsey is trying to build for a run after the Manning era ends in Denver?

WHY GOD WHY MUST I BE A CHIEFS FAN AND BEREFT OF HOPE

Back on topic.....I'd extend Stephenson. We'll have some cash to work with after the bloated contracts of Flowers, Hali, DeVito, Daniel, Succop and Fasano are gone.

Far more likely they will deal their "regular" picks to move up and they will use their comp picks to compensate for the loss.

Because, OF COURSE, the Chiefs can move UP in a draft, because it's incredibly easy to do when smart, capable teams want to profit with more picks. But moving down is just too ****ing hard for us, which is why we've effectively done it once in like 10 years.

Hudson's current replacement is already on the roster with Kush.
Allen's replacement is Fulton.
Rishaw Johnson is young.

I highly doubt they go OT in the 1st round unless a top 10 OT falls into their laps. And that's highly doubtful if they pick in the top 10 again. Fisher was picked to be the eventual replacement for Albert. They aren't picking another top 10 RT who isn't going to move at all.

Wouldn't plan on moving anywhere.

Dorsey has yet to do anything with his picks except trade 2 to SF for a backup QB.

He put a value on the guy he wanted and then got him. I have no qualms with that.

If anything to me is questionable is the value he put on him. If Smith is remotely the same for 4 years that he was last year it was a good trade.

Smith played good for 5 games in the regular season last year...

Sorry, he has to be much better than that to make the trade a "good" trade. Oh, and win a playoff game for the second time in his 9 year career.
