The adrenaline pumped, cocksure fighter pilot maintained his vigor in spite of age, he had something to live for outside of civilian life, he mastered state of the art flying machines and he didn't let a woman kill his testosterone.

In cities with fighter plane bases, "hot chicks" hang out in Officer's Clubs trying to score a pilot. Once they do that, they live a sort of awesome life with a hubby who has what most folks think is a pretty cool job. Fifteen years later he's still a fighter pilot, he's usually in pretty decent shape, she's not 'as' hot, and gravity is well on its way to winning.
