View Poll Results: Would you swap our 2015 1st for a 2014 2nd?
Yes. I would trade with any team. | 4 | 4.94%
Perhaps, depending on where the pick lies in the 2nd. I'm not terribly interested in taking Seattle's pick | 16 | 19.75%
Probably not. I'd need to see who was available when we made the deal, but I'm leaning towards no | 28 | 34.57%
No. Too risky. You have no clue where we'll pick or what kind of talent will be there | 33 | 40.74%

Yes less for the talent more for the time developing. Serious contention sooner and longer.

If you are convinced that the 2015 will be a late round pick, might be worth it.

If it's at the top of the 2nd, then absolutely.
I think I'd probably wait and see if there's a player I want that falls. Let's say we go Dee Ford, and then somehow Beckham or Lee falls to the 15th pick in the second. Why not? They're most likely every bit as talented as someone you'd get next year, and your team is that much better that much faster. |

Just wait.
The Chiefs will actually trade picks in this draft for picks in the next draft. They'll finish 6-10, pick up a fistful of comp picks, and be absolutely LOADED going into the 2015 draft. And then starting in about February, all the talking heads will start talking about how 2015 is so bad, almost as bad as 2013. |

We can discuss it all we want. There's no way in hell Dorsey is giving up his #1 pick in '15.
Dorsey is a conservative GM. He is going to build this team very methodically. Chief fans are going to need patience. Of course this is just my opinion.

If it was a top 10 2nd rounder yeah probably. That's if we plan on havin the 32nd pick next year.

I probably should have used an ampersand. Is an ampersand a word?

He gave up two 2nd-rounders for Alex Smith. "No way in hell" is an overstatement to say the least.
