Yes... It is the home town symbol for the Shockers.. (Best basketball team in Kansas) We did get in trouble from ESPN for doing it at our televised games. However, it has been a tradition for a while. Except you are suppose to spread the first 2 fingers and make a W.

i was in a week of training a few years back. we were right near the old town area. there was an antique shop that served an all you could eat bbq spread. i think we ate there 4 of the 5 days.
if i lived there, i'm sure i'd be fat(ter)......
