Geno Smith vs Alex Smith - It's on.

It's on now. Geno Smith is probably going to be starting for the Jets this season.

Alex Smith will be the Chiefs QB for the forseeable future. If he's a success, we'll probably get five good years out of him.

So who's gonna win more NFL games over that time period?

Put your ten pounders on the table and make a vote

Alex: 11 wins
Geno: 8 wins

Andrew Luck threw 3 picks.

Alex Smith made two mistakes all game. And you want to say that this loss was all on him?

How about losing Jamal Charles after 6 plays? Donnie Avery? Flowers? Houston?

Perspective. Perspective Perspective.

Yep, I'm a dumbass. The Chiefs scored 44 points, 24 of which came off of turnovers.

When the game was on the line Smith missed a wide open Cyrus Gray for a TD. But hey, Smith is the guy to take us to the promised land, right?

Luck threw three picks but made the plays to overcome them. You think Luck misses Cyrus Gray?

That was the best game Smith has ever played and it was still only good enough to blow a 28 point second half lead.

Jesus Christ.

If Bowe doesn't let Gordy run him out of bounds, the Chiefs win. Maybe, if bowe didn't drop that 3rd and 5 slant, maybe the Colts don't have enough time to win. Maybe, if Kendrick Lewis doesn't get smoked DEEP when he has DEEP COVERAGE, the Chiefs don't lose.

Im not saying you are a dumbass, but to try to find one person to pin a loss on, is RIDICULOUS.

First, Jamal, Houston, and Flowers, three pro bowlers all left hurt. Knile Davis who played great, LEFT HURT. But, yes, Alex Smith missing Cyrus Gray deep is a bad play. How many times do you think he has actually practiced that play with CYRUS GRAY?

Alex has some fault. If he doesn't fumble that, maybe the Chiefs don't lose. But, I mean, how about Andy Reid wasting his very last time out, FRESH OUT OF THE 2 MIN WARNING.

I mean there is a crap ton of fault to go around.

I would have to imagine that Alex Smith, along with Knile Davis would be at the BOTTOM of the list.

Alex Smith maybe missed 3 passes all day long.

So he missed ONE pass.

How about the two that he DIDNT miss, like both throws to bowe. One he dropped, the other he got ran out of bounds, on a perfectly thrown ball by Alex Smith.

Shrugs.

How much did losing Knile, and Charles hurt the Chiefs late when they could of used them to run the clock out?

Im not saying alex did nothing wrong, the fumble, and the Cyrus Gray pass, were huge.

So glad that people can be so KNITPICKY that they can point out ONE pass as to pin a loss on someone, who helped his team scored 44 points, and threw 4 tds.

CP LOGIC.

Again, you just don't get it. When the game is on the line, Manning, Brady, Brees, et al, don't miss that throw. Alex Smith, does.

Where are the Smith ball lickers with the blown throw to Bowe in the end zone in the first half? No one says anything because Smith got bailed out by a penalty on the other side. The guy is average, man. That's all he ever will be. Lipstick on a pig.

THATS IT! That's why we lost according to the AS haters. We lost because we did not score 46 points. It's not the fault of the defense that gave up 45 points because they caused Luck to throw three INT's. Smith had a phenomenal game yet because he was not absolutely perfect he is the reason for the loss.

Yeah, that's it guys, I'm stupid, and so is everyone else who has ever labeled Smith a game manager.

I'm sure next season won't end in the same excruciating disappointment, right guys?

This statement perfectly displays what a moron you are. Does A Smith play defense? Was he the one blowing coverages? The offense scored 13 points in the second half after already having a 3 touchdown lead going into the half. Only here would you find someone blaming the QB who had 378 yards 4 tds passing and another 57 yards rushing.
