Branden Albert is apparently looking for a deal about $9 million/year with $25 million guaranteed. Pricier than Jake Long last year.

Somebody please tell me what Stephenson did to earn all this clout. When he subbed for Fisher early in the season, he.was.shit. He came in at LT against Denver, NEVER ONCE WENT UP AGAINST VON MILLER(Fisher handled him every snap), played well against the DREADFUL Redskins, then pretty well looked like shit again last week.

He might be one of our best linemen, but he's not one of our best tackles

I think BA will resign, and I would be OK with if the price is right. 9 per is too much. To many other areas of need that will require some of what he makes this year.

If he's asking anywhere near that number, letting him walk and taking a 2015 pick at the bottom of the third round seems like the thing to do. I'd rather address the O-line needs in the draft, and use the cap space Albert wants to address FS, and WR this offseason

And I'll bet Andrew Abramson is a totally reliable source who actually asked Albert and/or his agent about their plans for a new contract, and they were 100% truthful, honest, and up front about it.
