In the market for a used truck...
I know this has been done a thousand times, but with no search function I just decided to create my own thread.
I'm in the market for a used truck, my absolute top dollar is $20k. Right now I have my choices narrowed down to a 2011 Ford F150 XLT (2WD) with 50k miles for $19300 http://springfield.craigslist.org/ctd/4939278622.html And a 2007 Toyota Tundra Double Cab (4WD) with 81k miles for $18500 http://springfield.craigslist.org/cto/4932526426.html The Toyota is one owner and supposedly has a clean title but I haven't checked yet. Toyota and Ford are the only brands I'm interested in at the moment, but may look into a Nissan. Do the two Ive posted seem like decent deals? Does anyone know of anything in the Springfield area that's better? |

18500 for something with 81K miles seems super steep.

No offense bro but for 1300 Bucks I'd take the newer model with 30% less miles on it all day long.

The interest difference alone makes that the smart decision on Toyota.

Do not go 2WD if it's your only vehicle. That's all I have to offer.

Yeah the 2WD thing kind of had me worried. I figured it'd probably get better gas mileage though. I had a 2WD Ranger when I was in high school and any time the roads got bad I filled the back with snow to get better traction.
