I think of them like Seattle games were back when they were in our division. They weren't as good, but it was always tough to go into the King Dome. Even so, we did better against them then, for example, Denver did. Some really good Denver teams went up to mediocre Seattle and got sent home with an L.
So yes, a great ugly win. Barring belly-flops, it sets up the Denver game in a few weeks quite nicely, possibly with the division and certainly with late-season momentum, on the line. |

Patriots are 10-1 in Buffalo since 2003, 13-2 in the last 15 overall. That aside, I do agree with this being a gritty win. You knew it was going to be low scoring and physical, and when Buffalo scored a TD on the first drive it looked bleak. The momentum was with Buffalo the whole game but the Chiefs kept their fingers gripped to the edge of the cliff and eventually pulled themselves up.
