Just bought these kicks, time for the gym. What shoes do you like for walking/running?

Are Asics any good? I was going to buy some, but wanted to get some opinions. I want to try different brands, Nikes are high, but worth the money. If I can get a similar, liable comfortable shoe for a cheaper price I'm all for it. The total for these were $140, which is usually in the ball park.

What do you guys prefer? Nikes? Pumas? Asics? Under Armor?

they're very similiar to Mizuno in that you'd best purchase the top tiered or just stay away, yes their drop off is that severe.
