No. Withey was a terrible offensive player, but he was never hyped up by anybody to be a good offensive player like Karnowski has. He's making his living off offensive rebounds (like Withey) and wide open looks when SC (inexplicably) helps off.

He's not a good player. Just a big ass mother****er. Which has worked for a lot of guys over the years.

Big dude takes up a lotta room. Anyway, I have t read much coverage of the teams this week, except for frank. I didn't realize the media had given him such status. He's a good story apparently and when your team gets this far, you tend to get some props.

He's been hyped as some magical player all year. His offensive efficiency numbers at some point in the season (I think conference play had started) were better than anyone else's in the country. Granted, he was still sitting quite a few minutes for his back, but that's a pretty heavy stat.

I haven't seen them play much. When I've had them on, I've been doing other things. But better efficiency than ANYONE else? I got really tired of hearing about it. He's this ultimate weapon.

Or it could be that he's been playing against 6'8 small school guys all year.

I just get tired of heaing about it. They should have been pimping the guards. They look really good (maybe it's just a hot shooting night, they've had a lot of turnovers). It just makes you think that the guys that pimp these guys don't actually watch ball.
