Writing was on the wall as soon as he finalized his buyout adjustment with LSU.

I think his ceiling at a program like ku is 6-6/7-5, but that’s a far sight better than where you’ve been.

Not sure how many years he has left in the tank, but maybe it sets ku up to hire a young builder with proven success running his own ship next time (someone like Seth Littrell, who wanted no part of the job this time around).

Not about ku, about Miles.

He was trending down at LSU despite all the resources and easy access to tremendous recruits. At this point, he’s an 8-9 win guy there, tops. I’d subtract 2 from that for a program like ku or ksu.

Mangino was a lot better coach. Would have done more at LSU than miles did.
