Alright Negative Nancies, I'm Calling my Shot!

I'm sick of all the negativity not only on CP, but all over social media regarding the Chiefs. I think the team uses the blowback from the Buffalo game as a galvanizing point for the team and we get not only petty Pat but petty Chiefs for the rest of the season.

The Chiefs are going 4-0 to close out the regular season. Baltimore is going to drop 2 of their last 4 games and Miami is going to lose 2 of their last 4 games. Chiefs get the number 1 seed. Chiefs beat Jacksonville in the divisional round at Arrowhead and then beat Miami in the AFC Championship game.

P.S.--I'm starting the GDTs for the next 4 games before giving it up to Hammock Parties for the playoffs.

Let's ****ing go!!

Hopefully Hardman is ready after the Patriots game to be that reliable third option the team desperately needs. Take ALL of the snaps from MVS and let James take all of Moore's. We've got a month to get this shit right. Make it count, fellas.

Mahomes has plenty, but kids playing outside of wealthy bastions like Texarkana can't be counting on getting replacement helmets so readily, given how tight budgets are for youth athletics.

On the other hand, if Mahomes is going to go off, I can sure understand and forgive him for doing it in the heat of the competitive moment. He's still my all-time favorite athlete and I hope that when I'm older, I'll be rooting for other great athletes who took after him.
Survivable? How many helmet tossing deaths have you witnessed Karen?

It honestly didn’t even cross my mind that this is what he was meaning. That’s a troll post right? That can’t be a real thought someone had.

LoneWolf's speech to Mahomes:

"You ain’t gonna believe this, but you used to fit right here (LoneWolf points to his heart.) I’d talk about you to other football fans and say “This kid is going to be the best QB in the world. This kid is going to be better than any QB anybody ever knew.” And you came in and played great and wonderful. It was great watching you redefine what QB play looked like. Every day was like a privilege. And then time came for you to be your own man and take on the NFL, and you did. But somewhere recently you changed. You stopped being you. You let people stick a finger in your face and tell you your wide receivers are no good, and when things got hard you started looking for something to blame. Like a big, dumb ref.

Let me tell you something you already know. The NFL ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very parity filled and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will try to rob you of your dynasty and keep you mediocre if you let it. You, me, or nobody is going to hit as hard as the NFL. But it ain’t how hard ya hit. It’s how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. THAT’s HOW WINNING IS DONE!! Now if you know you are the greatest, then go out and prove you are the greatest to ever play QB. But you gotta be willing to play with these JAGs at WR and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of them, Nagy, the refs, or nobody. Tom Brady does that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that! We’re always gonna love you no matter what. No matter what happens. You’re our quarterback and we bleed Chiefs red. You’re the best thing that has happened to this franchise since they moved to KC from Dallas. But until you decide that the league has woke up the wrong mother ****er, you ain’t gonna win another Super Bowl."

I'm ashamed to support a team where players smash their helmets on the ground so callously.

I thought Mahomes had learned his lesson after violently removing his jacket in the playoff game against the Jaguars, but apparently he has a lot of growing up to do to treat these inanimate objects with the respect they deserve.

I think any fair-minded adult understands and should also be able to tell any kid what's happening there, if needed... it's not like a kid is going to see that and assume it's fine for them to always do that, that's not really how it works (source: I was once a kid)... especially if they're old enough to also understand the sportsmanship he's shown for years on end, they can understands the flips side.

Just like any other leader.... some yell all the time and that's just dumb. The true professionals may only do it once a decade, so you know shit's bad.. that's not a character flaw unless you're berating some 16 year old kid at Home Depot

Conflict happens and there's no need to shelter people from it... this isn't getting your order wrong at the drive through, the stakes are a bit higher.

These helmets might be better than when I was a kid. Apparently, they test them with impacts of around 40 miles per hour or more, https://nocsae.org/wp-content/upload...r-2019-004.pdf .

Good speech.
In my speech, I would also tell Mahomes that Franco Harris was right and don't be getting hit if you don't need to be getting hit.
