Would you be in a zoo?

Hypothetical situation here.

Some nation that doesn't understand much about American culture wants to set up an "America" exhibit in their zoo, so that their citizens can see how an American lives.

In a random process, they select you as their top candidate, and you receive an unsolicited offer as follows:

1. You will live in a 2,000 square foot home with a 3,000 square foot yard.

2. On three sides, the home and yard will have a vertical 50-foot concrete wall that prevents you from leaving. Viewers can look down on you from the top.

3. The fourth side will be a large unbreakable window where viewers can see you.

4. Your home will not have a roof, and all rooms will be visible from the windows. In other words, you will have zero privacy.

5. A sliding cover will be placed over the top of the enclosure during inclement weather.

6. The zoo will be open 18 hours per day. There may be a night watchman wandering around during the other six.

7. You will have internet access, and will be allowed to order anything you like on the Internet.

8. You will be paid an annual salary, per the poll, and will receive free medical care from zoo staff.

9. It's a lifetime commitment. You will be there until you die.

10. You will get one month off each year from December 1 through December 31, in which you can leave your enclosure and go wherever you wish.

11. Zoo staff will maintain your enclosure, and of course you can order furniture and other decorative things on the Internet.

What is the minimum salary that you would require for this arrangement?

You may also assume that anyone currently living with you will join you by choice.

That's the weird thing about this scenario for me. I can't decide if it would be a great decision or a terrible decision, because it seems like both arguments are correct.

I went with 'no amount of money' because I figured the tiebreaker would be to stick with what I've got. But then I think about what I'd miss out by being in a zoo, and I don't think it's terribly important. I couldn't go out to restaurants and I couldn't go meet people for dinner or go to the mall. Those things are nice, but they're not necessarily deal killers.

Now that I think about it, not being able to go for a long run would be problematic. I'd be doing a lot of laps in my enclosure.

Gonna need a constant supply of females.

Yes you can and the onlookers are expecting to see primal activities so sex would be allowed and cheered on I presume.

Basically act like a cave man when they're people watching grunt fart scratch your nuts and pound your chest then when those people had enough & move on then go play some GTA & or any of your favorite games for hours un-end.

Do what ever you want you just can't leave that little spot but you get a month off each year.

I work from 12-16 hours a day so I don't see much difference in living at the job. Get paid handsome have family live close by so they can see you when ever you can pay for much of their living that's what I would do for my kids.

Solution. Get a treadmill that has a video screen of different trails you can run. Heck you can run along the Great Wall of China doing that.

I suspect that you couldn't get them from the zookeepers, but if you can order them on the internet using your salary, it seems that they would fall under "life as an American" that the zoo visitors are wanting to see.
