Now now, that's not possible. I've been told that Sutton is reeruned and makes everyone worse with his cockamamie schemes that are just too complicated to understand.

Several bits of evidence are starting to show the opposite.

Like how Peters has changed is the most recent one. Just maybe Reid sees something in him that is the above the heads of some of us fans.

Scandrick is a great example. That dude looked DONE last season and he's been, at worst, a credible starting CB this year despite being clearly past his physical peak.

He's being put in positions to succeed and being used in a manner that allows him to do so. Sean Smith was the best previous example and the whole slew of safeties he's found ways to make effective as well.

That's why when Parker shits himself, I'm not going to blame Sutton's scheme or coaching. This is a group of coaches - from Sutton to Harris to Thomas - who have demonstrated that they can coach up DBs.

Where Sutton IS starting to get on my nerves, however, is the fact that he refuses to move on from Parker. I let it slide when Murray was hurt but now Murray's healthy and it's Lucas that's losing snaps. And when Dan comes back, I'm worried it will be at the expense of Lucas/Murray. That's not okay.

When you don't have better options due to injury, I'm not going to blame Parker stepping on his dick on you. But when you DO have better options and you're still sending Parker out there to step on said dick, you get to own that.

C'mon Bob - lets get that taken care of.

I never said awful either. I said a decent #4 corner, with a #3 ceiling.

I stand by that. A few games against lesser competition isn't going to change my mind.

And this is still ****ing reeruned.

He’s a starting caliber corner in a league where a guy like Phillip ****ing Gaines is still a starter.

This will be his third week of practice. I’d imagine he’s going to make his debut this week or next.

I think this is the week they have to put him back on the active roster or leave him on IR for the rest of the year.
