My impression is that Cousins is annoying but serviceable. He falls in the mid-tier of quarterbacks. Cassel was not annoying and not serviceable, and he fell into the bottom 5 percent of quarterbacks.

And yet Matt's NFL career continues chugging along as he finishes his 14th season in the league. Amazing. That may be the most amazing statistic I've heard this year.

I blamed the loss to Buffalo on the dramatics of the Defensive guy the night before. Rukus at the hotel. Breaking into rooms, someones house. That ****s up a teams mojo.

Actually, it's tough to compare Cassel with anything other than inanimate objects. Like, say a clod of clay substrate. Or maybe a two-finger bowling ball.

My daughter, my dad, and I went to a Chiefs-Vikings matchup between Cassel and McNabb, I don’t remember the year, I’ve tried to purge it from my memory. As we were walking through the lot on the way in to the stadium, we saw some Chiefs fans playing bean bags with two guys in horned helmets. I decided to be friendly when I saw the Chiefs fan throwing was wearing #7. So I turned to the purple guys and said “don’t worry about it, this game requires accuracy and you’re playing Matt Cassel. You’ll be fine.”
