Getting through Hydrocodone Addiction
Not Chiefs related but I’m going through hell. I was literally prescribed this crap for 10 years and then I moved out of state. I knew moving no other family doctor would prescribe them to me unless my back was jelly. I think I’m doing pretty good considering that it’s been about eight days with nothing after 10 years and having it every day. Anyone else gone through this?

Question for the OP -

Are you addicted or dependant on them?

Do you use above your maximum dosage?
Using them to get high?

Or were you taking them as prescribed?

I guess it's substantially more expensive than gabs?
Lyrica is quite expensive.
Gabapentin is a good medication. I took it for a while for panic attacks. It seems to have a lot of good uses.

Sorry to hear that, I have a friend who went through a similar situation after multiple knee surgeries and told me getting off them was a nightmare.

Lean on people close to you and ask for help when you need it...

That's my best advice

Yeah, the gab/cymbalta combo does pretty good. Lyrica seemed to help more though. I have "sampled" marijuana several times and it did wonders for my back pain. I think the combo of MM, Gabapentin, and Cymbalta is going to do the trick.

Ditto. I take mine for neuropathy and dated a woman 4 years ago that took it for seizures, but I had no idea they prescribed for anything else.

Yes sir. Off label use for panic disorder. I was on 300mg 3 times per day. Worked very well while I was undergoing a difficult time in my life.

They also use it off label as a mood stabilizer.

Geez I don’t know how you could take 300,3 times a day. I take 100, 3 times a day and it makes me tired as hell.
