The fans of teams justifying their teams and QBs is getting beyond silly. The Bills fans, for one example, are really reaching deep in the denial bag. Please post what you find.

When you strip it all down and realy look at it, take away the team name, the supporting cast, the coaches, team mates, you're not left with one of the best quarterbacks in the league, you're left with the best quarterback in the league. 17 is the most polarizing player in the modern NFL era. If 17 is dropped into any NFL roster, 17 immediately makes that team more of a contender than any quarterback in the league would. There's a reason 17 is the most played player in Madden, 17 is a living breathing cheat code.

Burrows has less lows and his lows aren't as bad as Allens

I would argue that the narrative around burrow vs Allen in the playoffs is not based in reality

Allen has outplayed burrow by a significant margin and burrow has been continually carried by his defense in the playoffs

But it's tough because burrow is more steady.

Allen has too much favre in him and it shades his greatness

I made a whole thread dedicated to Burrow being overrated and I continue to stand by that. I’d take Allen over Burrow all day long. Burrow reminds me of Watson who was clearly propped up by throwing jump balls to Hopkins.

Most bills fans admit mahomes is the best and the chiefs are in the middle of a dynasty.

Some are still salty because of 13 seconds which was heartbreaking and we haven't won our super bowl yet. Any bills fan not admitting mahomes greatness and that he is the greatest QB ever imho is just being bitter.

I have to admit a sense of desperation will probably creep in if we can't get it done this year. It's a lot of pressure especially trying to win the chip in the mahomes era.

If Allen beats mahomes in the playoffs and wins the super bowl to me that's automatically first ballot hof

Allens oline was ranked 24th last year and his wrs led the NFL in drop % and were bottom of the league in yac

Buffalos wr group was ravaged with injuries last year

Before Allens elbow injury he outplayed mahomes yet again and had a QB rating of 109
After partially tearing his elbow his QB rating was 94 in the second half of the year which is still pretty remarkable



I personally think mahomes is the greatest QB I've ever seen in I believe he is going to be a babe Ruth like legend.

But can we please live in reality

Allen has broken Dan Marino's TD record for his first five years and tied Manning in TD ( passes) for his first five years. Mahomes probably tops him because he didn't play as a rookie but it's still incredible...

He certainly made some tougher throws but that isn't Mahomes fault. Mahomes read the defense correctly. He even showed how saavy he was by knowing what to stay in or opt out before the snap. Just a vet that has solved football. He is the most supremely talented guy but he didn't even need to utilize it. He went full Tom Brady in that game but has wheels to be able to get the rushing 1st down when needed.

A true testament to greatness is adjusting. Jordan did it with his post game and fade away.

The chiefs fo took away Tyreek Hill, maybe the most explosive wr of all time and Mahomes evolved into taking the short stuff and played with even greater anticipation and precision.

It's certainly possible.

A better way of saying it is nobody has a chance vs Mahomes A+ game. Literally

Allen imo is the only QB who has a possible chance if he also plays his A+ game.
