The Warriors will make short work of them.

Durant is as fake as they come.

Most of the best players don't want to play with other best players because they want to beat them. They have a competitiveness about them. Durant clearly lacks that.. He would rather play with the best than go up against them. It is painfully obvious given his choice to leave the Thunder the way he did.

A lot of people are probably like Durant but plenty are not. Plenty of people would never join a team they lost to after losing a tough 7-gm series like Durant did. They'd want to come back and beat the hell out of that team if given the chance.

As far as Carmelo Anthony, hey he had a chance to leave the Knicks and he resigned so clearly he couldn't have been that unhappy about going there. Winning a championship the easy way isn't always as attractive to some of these guys as you would think for a lot of reasons.
Lol if you actually think that.

There's nothing to think. It is common sense. But MJ said it himself and so did Larry Bird.

Back then it was true. Today's version of the NBA is different in that respect as it is in so many others.

Yes.. the best players only joined the best when they were past their primes. Malone, Drexler, Barkley, Payton.... etc

In todays NBA a prime Barkley type player would have went to the Knicks or Pacers instead of Phoenix.

By the time MJ and Bird were in their 10th like KD is right now, they each had 3 rings and played with multiple hall of gamers. They didn't stay on their teams just out of loyalty and competitiveness. They also played in 2 of the biggest markets in the NBA. That "they wanted to beat each other not play with each other" line is BS

While I get what you're saying and agree for the most part, Jordan would've never left to team up with his competitors. That's pretty obvious IMO.

Says who? He left his team to play baseball. Who knows what he would have done if he had played with the bulls for 9 years without winning anything.
