IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Not even down on the defense. They will improve as the season goes along, and even if they don't, I firmly believe we will be able to outscore every opponent if Money is on his game.

I liked this conversation between Simms and Lefkoe. They spend a good amount of time on Mahomes and Tyreek and discuss whether the Chiefs O or the Jags D is better.

The Chiefs talk begins around 49:00 ... and lasts awhile.

Something else I thought about, is that teams are going to start running the piss out of the ball to try to keep our offense off the field. Our run defense looks pretty stout so far, so we should be able to force enough short drives to give Patty and co. enough opportunities to put up enough pts.

Hope they do. That means less chances for our pass D to get torn up. Our 3rd and long defense has statistically been one of the best so far, so yes, please run at the Chiefs!

Exactly. It'll play to our strengths, but teams will be forced to try it because they won't have the firepower to keep up in a shootout senario. They will try to avoid the shootout at all costs

That was awesome thank you for sharing it. I think I will start following Simms because he seems smart.

Its reminds me a of playing the colts back when they had Manning. Teams would always try and run the ball to keep it out of his hands. I even remember talking about it when we were due to play them. I can't believe thats going to be us now.

Exactly what I was thinking while typing that. Remember the herm playoff game at Indy when we thought we could win by just shoving LJ down thier throat all day long? Yeah, thats the mistake all these teams will make against us. Wont work
