I don't expect the Super Bowl but I wouldn't say it's closed and we are still contenders. In many ways we have improved as a team but some of it is going be just how quick the rooks get up to the speed of the game. I think we won't miss Tyreek near as bad as people like you think. They drafted Skyy Moore he looks promising and will start to take off mid season. Our first 8 games are going be a bitch but if we come out with more wins than losses that stretch then we will be in the driver seat with easier games after the bye. Also we may not miss Tyreek because the plan is spread the ball around so defenses won't know where the ball is going. We have speed at WR JuJu and Marquez are an upgrade over Drob and Pringle. Also they plan to run the ball more because Patrick Mahomes says so that's what he wants them to do. We have probable the most tenacious offensive lines and our draft picks are thumpers they like to hit. The secondary is better already because of speed and talent to tackle they just got to know their assignments. Idk why you got to be so negative we have been the most dominant team last 5 years with 60 compared to Denver 30 and Raiders 34. You are right our window is open for the future but it's open this year and teams should fear us both offense and defense and I think some of those rooks are good returners so our ST is going be good.

I'm stoked for this season even with the growing pains. These rookies can play.

I’m so sick of this high floor bullshit about this year’s class.

Trent McDuffie isn’t just a high floor guy. He has a high floor and a high ceiling.

George Karlaftis isn’t just a high floor guy. He has a fairly high ceiling himself (Trey Hendrickson).

Skyy Moore has a high floor and a relatively high ceiling.

Bryan Cook is a high floor player with a limited ceiling.

Leo Chenal has a high floor and a high ceiling.

Most of these guys are just 21 years old and are already really ****ing good football players. They are in no way tapped out at 21 years old. It’s just nonsensical to say otherwise.

Also, how the **** is Nick Bolton not a potential star? That ****ing dude was one of the most productive LBs in the NFL last year and he wasn’t even a starter.

Yea, his coverage skills might limit his ceiling a bit, but guess what? Most ****ing LBs suck in coverage.

Everybody sucks Devin White’s dick like he’s a star LB, and the dude is average at best in coverage. I don’t know how he did last year, but he was well below average the year they won the SB.

High floor has becomes a way of knocking guys who are already really good at football. You know what makes stars? Guys that are really good at football.

You're too much of a homer to be objective.

No, we gave up the equivalent of a 2nd round pick.

And he’s a damn good LT that isn’t going anywhere.

Devin White is never looked at as a star from what I’ve seen. But he was a top 10 pick who had 100+ tackles and 9 sacks one year so that’s the narrative on him.

He’s not a star IMO

If he’s not a star LB, who is in today’s NFL?

He’s easily regarded as one of the best, whether you agree or not.

Is Jaire Alexander a star?

You yourself compared McDuffie to him.

You give me 21 guys around Pat that are really good football players that love the game and want to win, and I really don’t care how many “stars” we have.

staylor hit the nail on the head.

If we paid Tyreek all that money, we HAD a low ceiling with this team (or at least a ceiling that was a specific height). It was going to stay that way, if not get lower as he and Kelce aged.

We didn't lower the ceiling. We blew it off. There is no ceiling. Because we're now a young team with a little bit of wiggle room with future cap space. And we're only going to get younger next year.

Our ceiling is unknown at this point, which is far preferable to being locked in to paying three guys, dudes on rookie deals, and a bunch of shitbags.
