I don't disagree, but the way Bob has released RR and Hitch - I'm not overly worried, he seemed to stop pulling them back and started letting them attack more, over the last 2 weeks. Hoping they and he will keep it up. |

I know a lot of people all season long have given Berry shit about his willingness to play, and I GET the frustration, but I can't imagine that he's not dying to be out there. This is the stuff these guys dream about when they're kids...they work for all their lives...and the longer the season goes on, the more magnitude of every game. It would be hard for me to accuse any probowl player of wanting to sit on the sidelines vs. playing...especially a proven competitor like Berry. I just can't see him being that guy.

Everyone knows the difference between good and great isn't a huge margin in the NFL. I have a feeling he's not going to go unless he feels he can make a significant improvement on whoever is on the field.

Right? He's on the sideline every game that I notice, and he's always talking to players too.

Now that Watkins is back, some of the other players are talking now about how bad he wanted to be out there and how frustrating it was for him. But I think as long as the player is still injured they're under some kind of gag order. Which I don't get because one heartfelt interview from the player would change everything - instead of this silent treatment BS. But I guess they don't want to give anything away. I dunno. |

So he could have played last week, but then probably couldn't go this week. So he sits vs the Colts so that he can play in the AFC Championship game, then has two weeks to get ready for the Super Bowl. I'm not surprised by any of this, and I also think that if the Chiefs win it all, I could see him retiring. |

I've been on the other side of it, but I'm a bit hopeful for EB this week. I think he'll play and make a difference.
I haven't felt that way in a while. He could be huge in that he could play that DOD role and help with the guys out of the backfield. Also, what the hell happened to DOD? |
