If you read the first 2 transcripts, you will see that most of the details that the show wants you to believe were fed to Dassey, actually came from him first. The show completely omitted the very first interview.

What exactly did you read from the 2/27/06 interview that leads to believe they weren't "feeding" the story to Dassey? They suggest every important piece of "confession" to him.

First, let's remember that the reason why the cops were interviewing Dassey is because he told his cousin something about the incident.

Brendan reiterated several times that Avery told him not to say anything, and that he was afraid of Avery. In a later interview, you learn that Avery had beat him and sexually assaulted him before.

He told the cops that Avery tied her up and stabbed her.
He told the cops that Avery hid the truck with tree branches and a car hood.
He told the cops where Avery hid the truck.
He told the cops that Avery had cut his finger.

There were plenty of instances where the cops tried to get Brendan to provide details and he resisted. Why did he make the stuff above up, but refuse to make things up at other times?

At this point, Dassey as telling the cops that Avery had told him all of these details. They didn't believe that, they believe that Dassey was there the whole time this happened, which is why the subsequent interviews happen, where they suggest more specific details about things that Dassey had already told them.

Then, even if you don't believe any of the confessions, how did Brendan know about the purse and cell phone that were burned in the burn barrel? The cops made sure to keep a lid on that.

He didn't resist. He's ****ing legally reeruned. I'm not going to read every bit of the transcripts but I clicked on the first link and skimmed a bit.

The detectives are the ones that bring up body parts in the fire.

What does Brendan say is on the fire when he gets there? "Just branches."

The detectives bring up clothes and how they were "girl clothes."

Where were these clothes that Brendan supposedly determined were girl clothes and saw blood on? In a bag that Steven supposedly grabbed out of the garage. Who first mentioned them being in a bag? The detectives...

This is about where I stopped skimming.

An intelligent person can use their brain to understand that Brendan didn't have a clue what the **** he was suppose to say and was led on by the detectives to get him to say what they wanted to hear to "get this resolved." For **** sake, after the "confession" he asked them if he could get back to school by a certain time because he had something due. You are gonna tell me this kid knew what was going on or had any idea of the consequences for saying what he did?

That said, has anyone come up with a plausible explanation of where all of the victim's blood went because the lack of DNA in all the places the murdering supposedly took place is a real issue for me...

Yes.

A couple reeruns are smarter than forensic scientists and cleaned up every last microscopic speck of evidence. They even managed to get under the cracked concrete and everything. Crazy skilled.

Brendan Dassey said there was only blood in the garage, and he said they cleaned it up with bleach. He even told the cops where his bleach stained pants were, that he was wearing when they cleaned it up.
