Should KC switch to a more permanent 3-3-5 Defense for 2023?

I've long been a proponent of the 4-3 because it has historically been able to apply more consistent pressure on the QB.

That said, the quick passing league that has developed makes me think 3 linemen and variation with rolling coverages/blitzes by linebackers underneath will help create more inside pressure and help clog up the quick passes on crossers that slots seem to be carving us up with.

You have Chris Jones, so go hard after Dre'Mont Jones to be your other DE. You can get a good active nose. You can play Chenal, Gay, and Karlaftis in rotation at the two OLB spots with Bolton inside. The idea is you can bring 4 or 5 with some variation and you have two good pass rushers still close to the QB in the Jonesies.
