Meh. If he didn't suck at his job, he'd still have one.

Exactly !! You don't screw with cohesion and chemistry. "You dance with the lady that brung ya". Besides Wylie has a nastiness that LDT has never had nor will have. LDT is soooo overrated IMHO. Reiter is another nasty o-lineman I really like. Wylie and Reiter are those "no name" blue collar lunch pale guys you just don't screw with because they will hurt you. Quite frankly they are the kind of guys Bellichek would covet, "no names" that are talented and produce. Not trying to personally diss on LDT here it is just a fact. |

I can see why people might feel a little bad for Parker, but I'll wager he can ice that wound by cashing the checks he stole for an extra year than he should have been in the league.

Pretty sure he would.
A few years back, I used to drink beers with a guy that was on Tampa Bays practice squad. He was released sometime mid-season and they still gave him a ring. He never signed with anyone else, but he's got the jewelry to prove he was with the team.

I think the NFL pays for like 125 or 150 Rings, and the team gives them out. The active 53 man roster for the game get a Ring, and it's usually customary for the team to award a ring to any player that was active for any game, and in the past I think teams may have even given rings to practice squad players. The administrative and executive staffs also can get a Ring. And can't remember, but I think there is even chance that if you are a player, and your ring is lost or stolen, they can get it replaced.
I don't know exactly how much the NFL covers for Rings, but I think in the past teams have gotten ridiculously expensive rings and paid the cost above what the NFL pays. Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk |
