According to the article from ChiefsKingdom.com, OC Bienemy, “Damien Williams is our starter. We expect him to excel in that role," Bienemy said.

I don't know, but I took that to mean, that the current Chief's Offensive Coordinator, the guy that would probably know better than you, has made a decision as it relates to his starting RB.

But that would be silly, I guess . . .

The Chiefs aren't going to start a rookie. It took an injury to get Kareem Hunt the Week 1 start against the Patriots.

Anybody with common sense knew Williams was going to be the starting RB. This isn't news.

Okay, and this just occurred to me, but I assumed (always a problem) that Carlos Hyde was still a factor?

If he's already off the team, well I didn't know that. But I thought he had a chance at the job due to his significantly greater experience at the position over Damien.

You must have slept through the last two seasons. Hyde’s contract and lack of interest suggest he’ll never be a day 1 week 1 starter for a good team again..
