The creators of the Souls series (From Software) have released a new PS4 exclusive called Bloodborne

It's one of the most challenging games out there currently and it's fun as hell.

Ya, you'll learn you can just run past shit. Early on the rats can be a pain in the ass, like a lot of the other small creatures. I'm on my blood tinge character now. Love this game!

Need help creating a new character. Idk this one just doesn't seem to cut it or maybe it's me.

To say this is the hardest game I've played is an understatement...but I keep coming back for more. I'm still suck and frankly overwhelmed by Central Yarman. **** I'm just gonna watch walk throughs and try and start from scratch, I really wanna get good at this.

Do a pure strength build your first go around. Violent past as your starting class, use the Hunters Axe and the weapon you can buy after beating the 1st boss. Level Vitality and Strength to 50 and Endurance to 40.

Besides that, are you still using the clothes you started with. That's probably where most of your problems are coming from if so.

Yeah I figured out my problem. I was lone survivor and doing no damage. I heard Veteran is a good class. What's violent past like?

Starts with 15 str. Gives you enough points so your attacks with the axe pack more of a wallop early game. If you can, find the item madmans knowledge in Yarnham before even attempting the bosses. Then you can level up freely before fighting them.

Good advice. And yes, the axe is great for a starter weapon.
However, I've found that the threaded cane is really great at keeping enemies away. It's so fricken fast too.
Yeah, look at stats while you build your character. Veteran is an excellent way to start out.
Patience is good. Now that you've got a lay of the land, you'll do fine.

I beat three bosses in a row yesterday without dying. I liked to shit. Granted, one of them was exceedingly predictable but still... I'm at the end of the game now. Don't know if I'm going to fight Gherman or not. I kinda want to experience all three endings.
I've been ringing the "assistance" bell a lot lately and helping other players in new game plus. It's an excellent way to get echoes and rank up quicker.
I'm at level 102 now and have a +10 Ludvig Sword. That ****er is something else.

Yeah, Ludwigs is a fantastic all around weapon. Easily my favorite.

Back up your save to the online cloud and you should be able to recall it right after doing each ending. Just save it in front of the gate (assuming you haven't eaten the 3 items yet.)

I know people complain that this game doesn't have a Pause function but you can always just go to youtube or netflix on your PS4 and it will suspend the application.

So... Beat the game tonight. Went for the "weird ending" and beat Gherman then the next boss... Moon Nightmare or whatever it was. Went into New Game + and holy shit... Gonna be a helluva challenge.

Yeah, but even the grunts in the first area give a metric shit ton of echoes now. I was getting around 978 each with 2 moon runes equipped iirc.

Ha just went up against the Cleric in NG+... Beat him 1st try. That's awesome and everything. However, I'm feeling it. It wasn't easy at all. Me thinks I'd beat really start building my bloodtinge and arcane to insane levels now.

Yep. I have health runes equipped and I'm getting 800 a goon.
Gherman and the last boss gave me a quarter million so I leveled up a bit more and bought the shit outta some bolt paper.

how do people play this on Lone Survivor? it seems insanely difficult. i could barely get any damage.
