This was really a bad team for Doke. He needs to play on a team with multiple shooters who can space the defense out for him to dominate in the post.

I don’t think we’ll see much of a drop off really. McCormack will gain some needed experience. His upside is probably higher than Doke’s anyway.

Still a big loss, but probably not to the extent that we might think.

For whatever reason, they could not play through him when he was on the floor.

This team played better when DLawson was at the 5.

Yes, losing minutes is never a good thing...but I don’t think it is as big as a loss as everyone is making it out to be. The problems are beyond Doke...

We were 9-0 with him in the lineup, 3-2 without him.

I hope the team rallies and finds its new identity, but when you have something on your college team no one else has, and then lose it, it is never a good thing.

Certainly not a good thing to lose him, but Self didn't seem to have a clue how to effectively play both Udoka and Dedric together (and honestly without shooters around them, it's hard to blame him). His absence will at least give Dedric a lot more space to do his thing now.

You think so? I think he'll see constant double teams now because no one has really established themselves as a steady scorer to take that pressure off of him.
