My money would be on Tech winning it outright.

I think KU wins against K State.

From that point, Tech just has to finish with a better record than K State.

assuming this one is over, here is what remains...

KU is currently 9-5 in conference. They must win out to finish 13-5

K-State is currently 11-3 in conference w/ the following remaining:
@KU
Baylor
@TCU
Oklahoma

Tech is currently 10-4 in conference /w the following remaining:
Okie St.
@ TCU
Texas
@ Iowa St.

So KU has to win out. That gives KSU a 4th loss. They would have to lose another one, and Tech has to lose one as well.

As long as K State doesn’t win it outright, I can stomach however the league finishes. Short of Kansas winning it in some capacity, I’ll be rooting for Tech.

This year is kind of the perfect storm. It had to happen at some point. There’s recruiting controversy, injuries, an odd situation with a senior, freshmen/transfers that didn’t pan out as well as we needed them to, etc.

If it could reasonably go wrong, it probably went wrong at some point this year.

yeah, KU has has had a crazy year this year. Self will get the ship righted. You guys will be tough on whoever who draw in the NCAA Tourney. Good luck the rest of the way.

They gave up tonight. Zero effort....and TTU shot very well.

Big12 streak is done. Lot of bad shit happened this year and Self/Co couldn't overcome the adversity.

KU recruiting is going to be ass the next couple yrs.

This is the most likely it’s ever been that Self might bolt to the league. Not sure exactly what job he would take, but I could see it (even though I don’t think he’d be a great NBA coach).

Think about it. If the NCAA drops the hammer, would you want to stick around?

Would you want to deal with the NCAA after this De Sousa shit?

If the recruiting falls way off (like it looks like it might), would you want to damage your legacy?

If we suck for a few years, everyone will say his success was due to Adidas paying players.

Not saying it will happen, but this feels like the most likely it’s ever been.
