How the man kept a straight face while doing some of the interviews shows what a true prossional he was. Especially, and I’m only assuming, with a coked up Randy Savage. Lots of good memories watching him on TV in the ‘80s.

He was literally a character I enjoyed tuning in to watch his “interviews”
Wrestling was SO good back then. Sure, part of it is nostalgia. But there were just so many over the top characters. Gene was on the same level as those guys in terms of playing a role. He was perfect for it.

Mean Gene was probably one of the main reasons I watched the WWF. The talk show was can’t miss tv.
