Push button start cars and cold weather
I am going to ramble through this.

It is going to be cold. ****ing Cold.
New cars have a push button start-will they always start???
How to you "crank them" if they do not right away.
Fewer cars have heat plugs today. Was told they are not really needed.

Just want my wifes car to be ok since she has to work tomorrow.
My truck still has a key and remote start.. I have to go in even though school was closed.

Yep. People tend to blow these events out of proportion. My push to start did just fine this morning, warmed up quickly and I was good to go. We should change it from "Push button start cars" to "shitty, unreliable cars" in the title.

Me too. Early 88 or 89??? Snow and cold. What fools we were. Mo cold is not MN cold.
Today-I walked across the street and my lungs started to hurt.

The ceiling in my garage has frost on it and pop cans have exploded in the garage.

Drove the Jeep this morning since it was in the garage and warm. Finally had to use the truck around 3 after sitting all night and day, I got in, turned the key and it went NOOOO....OOOOO.....OOOOO....OOOOO...click...click...click. Guess it's due for a new battery.

I was told Maryville was the highest point between KC and Omaha. At 1152 feet, it certainly could be. Makes the wind blow more.
