Opinions range all over the place on this issue, and rather than clutter up threads with my staunch disagreement with some folks, I figured a poll on this issue would be the best way to figure out the overall pulse.

If you think he'd net us something that's not listed on here (like 2 2nd round picks or something like that) then do your best to estimate what that approximate value would be.

Extending alex 3 years would be devastating to this franchise considering the amount given up to get Mahomes.

We need to rebuild too many positions. Trading him for picks helps drastically.

Yes. Trading Smith will help too many other things for us not to trade him. Smith, DJ, Hali, Ford and maybe Bailey will free up around $46-52m in cap space.

We have to fix our defense. We can't spend another season with our $22m pass rusher dropping into coverage most of the game. If Sutton is going to continue to play prevent defense then Houston needs to take Hali's spot so he can rush the passer all game.
