Zack Kuntz would be a cheat code.

I mean, he's 6'8", 255, and runs a 4.55? Seriously?

You could just throw the guy jump balls all game long and there wouldn't be a damned thing anybody could do about it.

Two TE set with Kelce?

Fuhgettaboutit.

Probably needs to learn to block for all the screens we run, that will come with time though.

I'd take Kuntz over Kincaid if the draft cost was identical. And when you consider the probable 2-3 round difference...

Yeah, I'd be pretty happy with Kuntz in the 3rd or beyond.

Yup. Whyle might not be as fast but I think he's a hell of a lot better TE.

I just have so much faith in Reid's ability to coach/develop tight ends. His history is STUNNING at the TE position. As good as his reputation is with QBs, he's been as good or better with TEs.

So if the Chiefs take a TE on the 2nd day and it's someone like Kuntz who's more tools than technique, I'm absolutely going to trust that Andy sees something he knows he can coach up there.

The "sleeper" I like with tools is the other Cincinnati TE, Leonard Taylor.

He didn't get as many targets as Whyle but he's a much better run blocker and he was really good when he did get the targets. He's a lot more of the Kelce build.

There are several good TE prospects in this draft; conventional TE's.

What I like about Kuntz (he really know how to dance...uh never mind.)

What I like about Kuntz is that he's totally NOT conventional. He's a physical freak. And at 6'8", when you also have Kelce, what are you doing to do to keep him from just posting up at the first down marker? Nothing, that's what.

That's one major positive. 6'7" with a 40" vertical to go with it makes it awfully tough for any defender to just purely stop the jump ball. It makes him a very attractive red-zone target at the very least.

Would've expected Fortson to be used similarly though and it just hasn't come to fruition.

Fortson hasn't been able to stay healthy.

I wonder if we could keep more TEs on the roster this season bc we use an h back instead of a full back?
