Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

Thats why jumping jacks are my go to, you can do them 7 days a week whether you're doing cardio or weights.

I slept in anyway. You can do cardio and lifting the same day you're crazy. Lifting first tho.

Change of plans anyway friend hit me up were gonna do tire flipping instead. Great workout.

Nothing wrong splitting them up if you don't mind the time commitment. I'd lift first as well and save cardio for later. If there's a long enough time gap between, it doesn't really matter though.

Best of both worlds would be one session. Heavy lifting session first followed by some sort of high intensity cardio like HIIT for 10-15 minutes. Burn the same amount of calories as steady state cardio and in half the time. Do it following lifting while your glycogen stores are low and burn more fat.

Steady state cardio is for the girls.

I weighed in at 194 today. Late December I was at 235. I'm down 41 lbs and pretty pumped about it.

I'm still having trouble dumping. No dump forcing, usually resulting in 15 minute dumps to let them come out without force.

I think my ideal weight goal is 190. My original goal was 205. After that, I'd like to keep myself in between 190-200. Add a few lbs of muscle.

I would look at some psyllium husk capsules and take some every morning. Cheap and should help with your problem.

Unless you are on a low carb diet try fiber rich cereals like my boy Virus' Raisin Bran or frosted mini wheats or Cherios. Oatmeal works good too.

If you are low carb hit the leafy veggies - spinach types hard.

Diet is better than pills.

Or you could go the hog farmer route. Epsom salt is a hell of a laxative. I've never done it but old timers will tell you that it will make you shit through a screen door. I'd definitely try miralax first.

Down to 226! When I bumped this thread a few months ago Lew told me drop my cal intake down to 2k. While I haven't always been consistent everyday it sure as hell has worked. Thanks Lew I'm gonna hit my goal. This is a great feeling.
