TE - Zach Davidson

Zach Davidson of Central Missouri is a new name I ran across tonight just messing around.

He's a 6'6 (and a half!), 248 pound TE with some real movement skills. He has great straight-line speed for a TE but also shows some agility and quick feet.

Highlights here from Central Missouri:

The competition level is obviously DII, but I'm intrigued by the physical ability he shows just the same. I mentioned the speed and quickness already, but you also see a lot of shifty little subtle body movements to cross DBs up.

Lot of open field ability there, too.

He'd have to put on some weight/muscle to hold up as a blocker, but it's a really interesting late-round flyer type.

The kid can separate and get vertical. Nice moves on some of the routes, especially the wheel route. I'm assuming packing another 10-12 pounds on him and him maintaining his athleticism wouldn't be impossible.

It would be cool to root for a small school kid on the squad, and we need someone to push Keiser and Yelder (or replace them, whichever).
