Let's talk about the Patriots

5-0 heading into a Sunday Night matchup with the Pats.

This should be a good one, men.

The crew won't matter.

Expect a lot of DPI and defensive holding calls.

Detroit had a lot of success doubling Gronk.

Our corners have played pretty well on the outside. Let the outside receivers try to beat us

I can live with that.

Yep, it will be a shootout, 1st team over 40 pts.

Maybe 40 + ?

NE fans haven't quite accepted that Mahomes is the real deal. Their forums are littered with posts that belittle him...while ignoring that KC had that Jags down 23-0 in his worst game of the season. He had Big Rape down 21-0 and Garoppolo down 35-7...Rivers 31-12.

The only anomaly is playing in Denver altitude early in the season...we all saw what happened when the Donks ventured out of that advantage on Sunday. They got smoked...

Whichever gap is greater decides the game. In this case, I like the gap between the Chiefs offense and the Patriots defense. The Patriots are below average at rushing the QB and against the run. Patrick will have plenty of time to throw. Hunt will probably have one of his better matchups so far as well.

The Patriots haven’t seen weapons on offense anywhere near what we have. We’ve seen better weapons (outside of QB) than the Patriots have in both LA and Pittsburgh. We know our defense can do just enough.
Comparing LA and Pittsburgh's offense to Brady, Gronk, Gordon, Edelman, and White, in Foxboro, and coached by Belichick and McDaniels.

You don't see.

NE can't control the clock when their running backs are averaging 9+ ypc.

PM can't control the clock if there is no pass rush and 30 yard passes are just there for the taking.

GTFO with this garbage. Fat Ben is a HOF QB and any GM in the league would take Brown and Smith-Schuster over Gordon and Edelman.

You get pressure on Brady and it's all over.

Even if the Chiefs defense gives up 30 the Pats are still going to lose.

Heck, they may lose even if they score 40.

Kinda worried we're looking at officiating similar to the first half of Pitt/KC.

Nope...not anymore.

Even Kraft has to bow down to the long-term marketing power of Mahomes. No one..and I mean no one outside of Boston wants to see another Patriots SB. NFL needs to expand to 2018...its the Mahomes, Darnold, Watson and Mayfield show now.

It's just Brady/Manning were the only marketable AFC QBs for the last 5 years...Bortles? Did you see the refs literally step in and make sure that didn't happen in the AFCC. Luck was injured..They tried for an entire season to make Carr a legit QB....then gave up.

Sorry Terrific Tom..your expiration date has come due. AFC has a new darling...

Mahomes should market the hell out of himself for a few years..and donate all of it to charity.

Lol at you conspiracy theorists trying to blame the refs and the game hasn't even started. There's no fixing going on in the NFL. It'd be pretty much impossible to pull off. Someone would talk eventually. Let me guess you guys believe in alien abductions and that 911 was an inside job too?

Even if there was NFL fixing going on it'd be in favor of us. Mahomes is 23 and clearly a rising star Brady is 41. NFL would want the future of the NFL to win not Grandpa Brady.

Anyway, I think we win this game. We always play the Patriots well. We seem to have their number and I think the trend continues. Sutton knows Grandpa Brady very well and should be able to come up with a scheme that will slow him down enough for us to win.

Go Chiefs
