The unknown is what is exciting. We have seen the same script for 5 years. It will be fun again to not dreadfully see what's coming because you have seen it time and time again.

Alex Smith had four INT against the Colts his rookie year and only threw one touchdown for the season he ended it with 11 interceptions.


Alex Smith only had 3 seasons with 20+ touchdowns. I bet Patrick Mahomes II doesn't throw under 20 touchdowns a season the next ten years of his career baring injury.

One came with :20 left in the first half and the other came on 4th and goal from the 20. He was being (understandably) over-aggressive.

The pick in the first half was a really dumb throw though.

Interceptions are overrated. Who gives a **** if you're on the opposing 40 yard line and you throw a pick 15 yards downfield on 3rd and long. It's essentially an incompletion and a touchback on the punt.

If it is 4th and 10 and you throw a pick thirty yards downfield, you actually helped your field position. It's part of the reason why the metrics say never punt, just always go for it.

Paxton Lynch threw interceptions to Kansas City scrubs

All our starters were on the bench and Lynch still couldn't get it done.

Why is a Bronco fan in a Mahomes thread anyway? I don't go to Denver sites to trash Lynch, because he doesn't deserve it. Everyone knows he sucks.

Those interceptions can be returned for scores. The offense is not designed to stop a DB with the ball. Atleast a punt return unit is built with the intention of stopping speedy ballcarriers

Nothing about Trubisky's games this year impressed me to warrant this. Mahomes single game impressed me far more than Trubisky.

In another year or two when they do this again, Mahomes will be #1. Who knows where Watson and his plastic knee is going to place. Trubisky has a better shot now with Nagy than he did his previous coaching staff.
